The first test between Bangladesh National Cricket Team and Sri Lanka National Cricket Team ended in a draw at Galle International Stadium.
In the second Test match in Colombo, Lanka Lions registered a major win with an innings and 78 runs to move number 3 in the ICC World Test Championship points table.
After the match, Najmul Hussain Shantio announced that he was leaving the position as the Bangladesh Test captain. Earlier, it was reported by various media outlets that things are not good between Shunto and BCB, as they were poorly communicated before they were dismissed as ODI captain despite the desire to continue in the role.
