Rishabh Pant receives large milestones

Pants demonstrated a batting masterclass in the first Test against the English team in Hadingley in Leeds, and he slammed a terrible century.

After completing the ton, Rishabh Pant pulled his trademark Somarasalt festival and completed his innings with a score of 134 runs off 178 balls with 12 fours and 6 sixes.

His innings helped him become an Asian wicketkeeper-batsman with the most runs in army countries, as he has scored 1815 Test runs in South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia.

The pants ton of the pants in Leeds was the longest of the game, and now he has become the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, with the most testing tons in his name, crossed MS Dhoni’s 6K Tally.

In addition, Rishabh Pant has overtaken MS Dhoni’s 78 sixes tally in Test cricket, and with 79 maximum in his name, he has become an Indian wicketkeeper-batsman with the most testing sixes. Overall, only two wicketkeepers – Bellers have hit both England and Australia for centuries – Pants and Jeff Doan.

In Test cricket, he is already ahead of Ms. Manjrekar

Speaking on Gehotstar, Sanjay Manjrekar said that Pant has scored his test runs in more challenging situations than MS Dhoni, and he is ahead of the Great World Cup winning skipper in the Red-Ball format. He said:

“Again, I’m a believer where you have found hundreds of your, and I am a big kind, I always look at hundreds. Well, where we have got it? He has met hundreds in England. He has got 100 in South Africa. He is a pair in Australia.

“So when you see MS ‘hundreds, with proper respect to your fans, their centuries will not be so much in these countries, where batting is a little more challenging, because batting on an Indian pitch. In Test cricket, in Test cricket, he is already ahead of MS,” he said.

So far, India’s largest test batter -keeper – Sanjay Manjrekar

Sanjay Manjrekar further labeled Rishabh Pant as India’s biggest gloveman in Test History and highlighted how he raised and appreciated the English crowd. He said:

“So far, India’s largest test batter-keeper. I was worried when he was in the 90s that he could achieve the 8th 90 of his career. It’s just incredible that he has so many in the 90s! But he is a fresh air breath.”

“When he came out and raised his bat, there were a lot of English supporters who stood up and appreciated that innings. That is what we love about England – these people come to see good cricket. They clearly want their team to win, but when they see excellence from the opposition, you can see true praise for it.”
