MS Dhoni’s car has been fined Rs 1000 for overspeeding in Ranchi after it was caught violating traffic rules. The e-challan was issued under Section 183 of the Motor Vehicles Act after the city’s automated traffic monitoring system detected a speed violation near his residence.

Chennai Super Kings aim to make a strong comeback in IPL 2026
Chennai Super Kings will be hoping to bounce back in IPL 2026 after two disappointing seasons in a row. The five-time champions lift the trophy in 2023, but their performances since then have not lived up to expectations.
In 2025, CSK finished at the bottom of the table with only four wins and ten losses. The team also failed to qualify for the knockout stage in 2024, finishing the campaign in fifth place and missing out on a playoff spot.
Last year, MS Dhoni’s performance with the bat was quiet. He scored 196 runs in 13 innings of 14 matches at an average of 135.17 and an average of 24.50. He mostly batted lower down the order and often came in during the final overs of the innings.
The 44-year-old cricketer continues to be an important presence within the team. His experience, match awareness and influence inside the dressing room is shaping the team as CSK looks to rebuild and deliver a strong campaign in IPL 2026.
