In this India-Bangladesh match, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey hit 3 sixes each. Rishabh Pant hit 2 sixes and Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav hit one six each. In this way the Indian batsmen hit 13 sixes. This is the Indian record for most sixes in a match in the 24-year history of T20 World Cup. The previous record was made in 2007, when India hit 11 sixes against England. This was the same match in which Yuvraj Singh had hit 6 sixes in one over of Stuart Broad.
The Indian team batted first in the Super-8 match against Bangladesh. This match was played in Antigua, where the pitch was suitable for batting. Indian batsmen took full advantage of this and scored 196 runs. This is also the biggest score in T20 International matches at this ground.
