The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) fined all the players after a disappointing performance in the ICC’s premier event. The players were fined PKR 5 million (approximately US$18,000).

Former ICC umpire Aleem Dar, who was part of the PCB’s revised selection committee since October 2024, has resigned from his post on Monday, March 2, 2026, reports Rev Sportz. This shocking decision has come at a time when Pakistan cricket is being criticized in the cricket world.

This is not a new thing for the cricket world, because whenever Pakistan National Cricket Board performs poorly, some members, players and coaches associated with PCB resign or are removed from their posts.
