Mohsin Naqvi Red faced as ACC

The victory of India’s victory over Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 was much more than the ‘No Handshek’ controversy. The defending champion completely defeated men in Green to win a 7 -wicket win in Dubai on Sunday (14 September).

After the victory, unbeaten batsmen of Suryakumar Yadav -led team – captain Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dubey – went directly to the dressing room without customary handshake with opposition players.

Indian players closed the door on Pakistan

Pakistan players waited for men in blue and shook hands, but this never happened. Suryakumar also avoided the handshake in the toss with his Pakistan counterpart, Salman Ali Aga.

Following the dispute, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has demanded the removal of the match referee Andy Picroft. According to reports, Pycroft had informed the Pakistan captain that he should avoid reaching Suryakumar for a handhek.

However, the PCB was angry with Pycroft for his ‘Ansquartsmanlaic’ request and wanted the ICC to take action against him.

Mohsin Naqvi under Spotlight:

While Pycroft is facing PCB’s anger, it has been revealed that Pycroft was following the instructions of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Incidentally, the current PCB President, Mohsin Naqvi is also the ACC prominent.

“What the ICC has to do with it? Their role ends when the officers are appointed. Someone of ACC had a chat with Picroft before the game, and what happened in the toss was the result of that chat.”

A source of Tracking Developments told The Times of India, “The PCB chief finds out what the chat was, who did it, and to further promote the fire to advance the fingers in the ICC,” Times Tracking Developments told Times of India.

While PCB has been angry with the entire incident, men do not shake hands with Pakistan players and coaches in Blue’s decision, do not break any rules of sports. Hand shaking hands with the opposition is only customary and is not mandatory.

No pressure on ICC

The report claimed, “All this talk and posting on social media return home for optics and story, but it makes very little understanding. It is not mandatory even if they had any problem with not joining hands in India,” the report claims.

Meanwhile, India has already booked its place in Super 4S after winning its first two matches in the Asia Cup 2025. He started his campaign with a 9 -wicket win over UAE before defeating Pakistan. India’s last group game is against Oman.
