Does Mohammed Siraj still miss Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)? What the fast bowler has said in response to this might not make some Indian cricket fans happy.
Mohammed Siraj is currently playing for Gujarat Titans (GT). He joined the Gujarat-based franchise from RCB ahead of the IPL 2025 season. This season, after playing only three matches, the fast bowler is still not in his best form.
Mohammed Siraj has had a long stint with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL
Siraj was associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore for a long time. The right-arm fast bowler played for the Red and Black franchise from IPL 2018 to IPL 2024 season. Spending seven seasons for the same franchise is a huge thing for any cricketer in any franchise league across the world.
When he joined RCB after a short stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Siraj was an emerging fast bowler. It cannot be denied that after joining RCB, this fast bowler has developed a lot in his game. In the world of professional cricket, contracted cricketers are obliged to give their hundred percent for their current team.
Gujarat Titans fans got furious after hearing Siraj’s answer
What Mohammed Siraj mentioned in reply left some Gujarat Titans fans unhappy on the social media platform. Siraj confirmed that he still misses his previous Indian Premier League team, which is RCB.
“Please leave Gujarat Titans and rejoin Mohammed Siraj in RCB if you can’t give your 100. He has taken just 2 wickets in PP in the last 12 matches, and we bought him for Rs 12.25 crore to replace Mohammed Shami, who used to take 17 wickets in PP man,” an angry Gujarat Titans fan wrote in an ‘X’ post.
Siraj played a total of 88 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. In those 88 matches and 87 innings, the Hyderabad-born player took 83 wickets at an economy rate of 8.6. Before joining Gujarat Titans, Siraj played 14 matches for Bengaluru in the 2024 season and took 15 wickets at an economy rate of 9.18.
For his first season with GT, his economy rate increased slightly, from 9.18 to 9.24. In the IPL 2025 campaign, the fast bowler took 16 wickets in 15 matches.
Siraj was hesitant before giving a clear answer on his former IPL team
Another special thing in the video is that when the paparazzi were asking Siraj about RCB, he kept trying to avoid the question again and again. Finally, before entering the car, Siraj said that he is missing his former team.
Please leave Gujarat Titans and rejoin your RCB @mdsirajofficial If you can’t give your 100%.

Gujarat Titans are currently not in a very good position in the ongoing IPL 2026. After playing three matches, they are currently placed seventh in the points table. Out of those three matches, they have been able to win only two. Mohammad Siraj is one of the main cogs of the team in the current campaign.
Fans and team management have high expectations from this fast bowler. If Mohammad Siraj performs as per his potential then GT will get an additional edge over the opposing team. Titans will next face Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Sunday afternoon.
