Hasin Jahn, wife of India’s fast-bouler Mohammed Shami, recently made headlines after the Calcutta High Court directed the cricketer to give monthly alimony.
The court ordered Shami to pay Rs 4 lakh per month – Hasin Jaan to pay Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh to his daughter.

The court’s verdict came after Jahn’s challenge for the 2023 lower court order, which gave a very low amount.

In 2023, a district session court ordered Shami to pay Hasin Jahhan to pay INR 50,000 before the High Court decided to challenge the verdict.

After the court’s decision, Jahn said, “I used to act model and act before getting married. Shami forced me to leave her profession. He wanted me to live only a housewife’s life. I loved Shami so much love that I happily accepted it.”
He said, “Now I have no money for myself. Shami has to bear all responsibility for our maintenance. That is why we had to contact the court when he denied it,” he said.
Hasin is once again in the headlines for a completely different reason. A video has surfaced online that shows her involved in a physical change with another woman.
In the video, Jahan could be seen pushing and shaking another woman. The entire incident was caught on camera and has gone viral on social media. The reason behind the conflict is not yet clear.

Shami’s marriage failed badly
Hasin Jahn and Shami tied the knot in 2014. Before marrying Shami, Jahan worked as a model and a cheerleader for Kolkata Knight Riders. Their marriage hit Rock Bottom in 2018 when Jahhan made a cedar against cricketer and his family.
She accused Shami of domestic violence as well as dowry harassment, adultery and match-fixing.
As a result, BCCI decided to withdraw Shami’s central contract. After investigation by BCCI’s anti -corruption unit, Star Pesar received his contract, which was approved by all corruption charges.
Meanwhile, Shami was last seen in action during the IPL in May. Right -handed pacer did his business for Sunrisers Hyderabad and struggled with his rhythm throughout the tournament. He played 9 games and managed to take only 6 wickets.
