24-year-old Pakistan National cricket team wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris produced a classic Pakistan moment in the 2025 match against Bangladesh.
The Pakistan National Cricket Team and Bangladesh National Cricket Team are closing horn with each other in a virtual semi-finals of the Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Stadium on Thursday, 25 September.
Comedy of errors from Mohammad Haris, Pakistan one run
Pakistan lost the toss and was invited to bat first in the match against Bangladesh, and once again performed a terrible batting.
The top-order batting unit collapsed, and the lower-order batsmen were forced to take steps to take the Pakistan National Cricket Team on a respectable score.
In the first innings of the match, the highest run-scorer for men in Green was Mohammad Haris, who scored 31 runs off 23 balls, with 2 fours and 1 six, Pakistan posted on board 135/8.
The tally registered by Pakistan could have been 136, Mohammad Haris did not make a comedy blame on the last ball of the 10th over.
In particular, captain Salman Aga made a delivery from Mahdi Hasan to the right of long on, and one Missfield helped to take the batsmen two.
However, the umpires investigated for the short term, and it was discovered that Mohammad Haris, who was not initially asking for another, forgot that the bat needed the ground behind the crease.
They did not either place it on the ground when it was eventually going to another, and Pakistan simply got the same due to poor awareness, and Mohammad Haris a comic defect.
