Mohammad Amir surrenders to Mohammad Kaif after ugly fight over India’s T20 WC 2026 prospects

The war of words between two former cricketers – Pakistan’s Mohammad Aamir and India’s Mohammad Kaif – seems to be coming to an end. The former Pakistani cricketer shared a new video showing his devotion towards the former Indian cricketer.

The war of words erupted during the T20 World Cup 2026, when Mohammad Amir questioned Kaif’s credibility as an Indian national team player. Aamir directly said that it was because of Sourav Ganguly that Mohammad Kaif got the opportunity to play for Team India.

Mohammad Kaif responded brutally to Mohammad Aamir.

Kaif’s reaction was even more brutal. He made fun of all the predictions made by Aamir during T20 World Cup 2026. The former fast bowler repeatedly claimed that India would not claim the trophy under any circumstances. At every stage of the title race, Mohammad Amir predicted that the Suryakumar Yadav-led side would crash out of the competition. All his predictions were proved wrong when India defeated New Zealand by a huge margin and lifted the trophy.

As soon as the tournament ended and India became winners for the third time, Mohammad Kaif attacked Aamir. Kaif said through a long Instagram video that the team had gone to play the tournament with at least 6 players who were part of the 2024 T20 World Cup winning team. So, arguably, the Men in Blue were the favorites to win the title again, and they did so as per expectations.

Kaif raised legitimate questions to Aamir

“A message for Aamir bhai that he had said that the Indian team will not reach the semi-finals and will lose to West Indies. Then he said that they will lose to England, they are a very strong team. Then he said that they reached the final but will not win the final. Sir, I am talking about logic. The logic is that the Indian team won in 2024. They won. They had the same players. If we remove Sharma and Virat Kohli, at least There will be 6 players.” Despite playing in this World Cup, you said that this team will not reach the semi-finals”, Kaif said.

“I am not making the video to insult you. I am just telling you that I wanted to understand your logic. Why did you say that this team will not reach the semi-finals and will not win the final?” Mohammad Kaif raised questions from Mohammad Aamir.

Mohammad Aamir surrendered in front of Kaif

Mohammad Kaif’s Instagram video was shared a few days ago and was followed by Aamir’s reaction on March 9. The former fast bowler said that there should be individual opinions and there should always be healthy debate.

Mohammad Amir told Kaif, “I am making this video for a special action. To Mohammad Kaif, this is not something I am making out of anger or to control. Even after India’s win yesterday, things were great. There should always be a healthy debate, right? Opinions should exist.”

“If someone doesn’t like a character’s opinion or doesn’t understand it, you take action. Honestly, how do you move the pieces forward in place of cricket? Fans are exported to cricket. They start doing that and start using it. So I say, brother, I really like it. Such a cricketer will ask questions of cricket”, he added.
