Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has predicted that India will not be able to win the T20 World Cup 2026 trophy. Aamir was one of the biggest critics of the Indian cricket team throughout the tournament. In most of his predictions, he said that the Suryakumar Yadav-led team will finish the title race without a trophy.

Shoaib Akhtar looked absolutely disappointed
Along with Mohammad Aamir’s video, another video of a former Pakistani cricketer caught the attention of cricket fans. The next video we are talking about is related to Shoaib Akhtar. During a discussion panel, the former fast bowler looked quite jealous seeing Team India celebrating with the trophy. He compared the Indian cricket team to a rich kid from the area who invites the neighborhood just to win the tournament.
“India tried this, there is no such rich kid in the neighbourhood, yet he calls all the poor kids, ‘Come play cricket, only I win. India is doing the same to us”, Shoaib Akhtar said during a live TV interaction, with clear signs of disappointment on his face.

India easily won the final against New Zealand
Talking about the match, India, who came to bat first, made a huge score of 255 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. Thanks to Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Shivam Dubey for their explosive innings. Samson emerged as the most successful batsman of the night, scoring a quickfire 89 runs. The opener also awarded the best player of the tournament.
In reply, New Zealand could score only 159 runs for 10 wickets. India displayed pure dominance and won the match by a huge margin of 96 runs. In all departments of the clash, the team that won the first two T20 World Cup titles easily sealed a third title, and that too on home soil. Jasprit Bumrah, who took 4 wickets in 4 overs, got the Man of the Match award. Akshar Patel also took 3 wickets to ensure the victory.
