Mithun Manhas has become the first player from Jammu and Kashmir to play the role of President of BCCI. Although he never represented India internationally, he enjoyed a magnificent domestic career extending for nearly two decades between 1997 and 2017.

Manhas played 157 first class and 130 list A matches, scoring 9,714 runs in first -class cricket and 4,126 runs in List A Games. He also appeared in 55 IPL matches, representing Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capital) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

After retiring from playing, he worked as a batting advisor for several franchises, including Kings Xi Punjab (now Punjab Kings), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Gujarat Titans (GT). Before infection in cricket administration, Manas joined Jammu and Kashmir.
