With the 24-year-old sidelined over the last three to four months, fans were quick to troll Mike Hesson as the coach has not played his “best death bowler” in important games.
Remarkably, Mohammad Wasim Jr He last played for Pakistan during the tour of New Zealand in April this year, while his last T20 match was against the same opponent in Christchurch in January 2024.
So far, he has played two Tests, 22 ODIs and 29 T20 matches for Pakistan and has taken 2, 36 and 36 wickets respectively. Wasim Junior has 117 wickets in 99 T20 matches at an average of 26.00 and an economy rate of 8.71.
