MI New York MLC 2025 became champion after final over thriller against Washington Freedom

MI New York led by Nicholas Gorn won a nail-bite against Washington Freedom at the Grand Prey Stadium in Dallas, Texas on Monday, July 13 (local time). New York -based franchise claimed its second Major League Cricket (MLC) title despite struggling in the league stage.

MI New York won its second title in three sessions. The team led by Nicolas Garib defeated Washington Freedom by 5 runs in the final. He won just three matches in the league stage but bounced back with victory in eliminator and challenger. MI New York also won the opening edition in 2023.
