A funny incident happened in the second ODI between Pakistan and Bangladesh, when all-rounder spinner Mehdi Hasan Miraz dismissed Pakistan batsman Salman Ali Aga in the most unorthodox manner.

Pakistan is currently on Bangladesh tour and is playing a three-match ODI series. This marked Bangladesh’s return to international cricket and they made a great start by winning the first game of the series.

However, Pakistan made a solid start in the second ODI with a big opening partnership and their middle-order batsmen, Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Aga, did a lot of work to keep the scoreboard ticking. However, what happened next has shocked the cricket world.

Mehdi Hasan Miraz stoops to rock bottom to dismiss Pakistan batsman

Mehdi Hasan came back to bowl the 39th over of the Miraj spell and Pakistan batsmen Salman Ali Aga and Mohammad Rizwan both looked to build a solid partnership. When Rizwan was nearing his half-century, Agha was going run-a-ball at the score of 64.

Rizwan played a straight shot towards the non-striker and Salman Agha failed to avoid it and the ball stopped after hitting his pads. The Pakistani batsman went to collect the ball and handed it to Mehdi Hasan Miraz in the spirit of the game, but the Bangladeshi all-rounder was anything but competitive.

Instead he picked up the ball and threw it at the stumps as Agha was out of his crease and appealed for run-out. The umpire had to follow the rules of cricket and Agha was given out.
