England’s speed attack has faced many failures. Jofra was unavailable in the early days of the Archer series, but the Lord’s could return to the test. The first injury, Gus Atkinson, has also re -included the squad before the third match.
Meanwhile, Bridan Cars are allegedly struggling with the issue of a toe and may require comfort, adding England’s fast-bowling concerns.
Mark Wood’s performance against India has reduced
Mark Wood has taken 119 wickets in 37 Tests, with an average of 30.42, however, his performance against India has decreased, with only nine wickets out of four tests at a high average of 50.33.
In particular, five of those wickets came in the same match at Lord’s in 2021 – their only test against India on English soil.
Meanwhile, England has named the 16 -Sadasya Squad for the upcoming Lord’s Test against India from 10 to 14 July. They included seven fast Baouler – Joffra Archer, Josh Tong, Chris Woakes, Sam Cook, Jamie Overton, Bridon Cars and Gus Atkinson.
India-England Five-Match Test Series equally made on 1-1
