Lungi Ngidi ruled out of IPL 2026 match against RCB

There is some relief for South African fast bowler Lungi Ngidi and Delhi Capitals (DC) after a scary moment during their IPL 2026 clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 25. Lungi Ngidi has now been discharged from hospital and has returned to the DC team hotel.

The fast bowler suffered a head injury during DC’s last IPL 2026 match against Punjab Kings, which left everyone worried for him. Thankfully, doctors have confirmed that there is nothing serious or life threatening.

However, Ngidi is still under close medical observation and will need some more time to fully recover. Because of this, he is almost out of Delhi Capitals’ home match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 27 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
