Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will begin their IPL 2026 campaign against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Wednesday, April 1. After a disappointing performance last season, where they finished seventh, captain Rishabh Pant will be aiming to lead his team to the title this year.

The franchise strengthened its squad during the IPL 2025 mini-auction. Lucknow Super Giants signed Australian wicketkeeper Josh Inglis along with bowlers Wanindu Hasaranga and Anrich Nortje. They also secured veteran fast bowler Mohammed Shami through a crucial trade with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
