Lucknow Super Giants will be without the services of their South African batsman Aiden Markram for their last two matches of IPL 2026.

The development happened just hours before LSG’s match against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Tuesday.
LSG is already out of the race for a top-four spot, while RR is one of the five teams competing for an open slot.

Aiden Markram returned home due to personal reasons
According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, Markram returned home to South Africa due to personal reasons. While it is not immediately clear what those reasons are, it has been confirmed that Markram will not return for the remainder of the tournament.
