The Indian Premier League (IPL) trade window got its biggest shock on Tuesday, June 23, with Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) swapping franchises for Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav in a blockbuster deal.
LSG sacrifices Rishabh Pant, secures Kuldeep Yadav in blockbuster IPL move
Pant has returned to Delhi Capitals for Rs 15 crore, while Lucknow Super Giants have bought star spinner Kuldeep Yadav for Rs 13.5 crore. Pant’s revised fee is much less than the fee he got from Lucknow Supergiants in the 2025 mega auction.
