Joe Root leads the batting record at Lord’s
Meanwhile, Lord’s cricket ground is also a place where legends have created many records. England’s great batsman of the modern era, Joe Root, has been the most successful modern player on this field. He has scored more than 2,100 runs in Test matches at Lord’s.
Root has 8 centuries and 7 half-centuries to his name in Lord’s Test. He is followed by some of the great England batsmen like Graham Gooch (2015), Alastair Cook (1937), Andrew Strauss (1562) and Alec Stewart (1476), who have scored more runs than others at this position over the years.
James Anderson has the most wickets at Lord’s.
