Litton Das, captain of Bangladesh national cricket team, was killed by a rear tension during training at the ICC Academy Ground, which gave his participation in suspicion in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 Super Four matches. Litton Das retained the injury during batting on 22 September.
While trying a square cut in the mesh, Litton suddenly felt twin on the left side of his waist and immediately had to stop the practice. Bangladesh captain was assessed by Team Physio Bezidul Islam on the spot, in which Chief doctor Debashis Chaudhary was also participating.
Litton Das overtook Bangladesh’s back-to-back Asia Cup 2025 Super Four Games.
The treatment was corrected on the field, but Litton did not continue the batting after the incident. Litton’s time of injury is related to Bangladesh, as his schedule in super fore stage is very tight. They will face India on 24 September and then Pakistan the next day.

A Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official was told by Cricbuzz on Tuesday (September 23): “We will take a look at him today (Litton) today because he looks quite right from outside, but we need to make a medical evaluation before making the final call.”
