Large shock to PCB; ICC officially closes the door on Pakistan’s face to remove Andy Picroft

The PCB alleged that Andy Pycroft instructed Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga to avoid joining hands with Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav in the toss in Dubai. Pakistan felt that it was unfair and believed that the match referee was supporting India.

As reported by Cricbuz, the ICC has made the PCB clear that the matches of the match informed Andy Picroft before the toss that there would not be a handshake, and he was just following the situation as it came up during the struggle of India vs Pakistan in Dubai.

The ICC stressed that Pycroft worked on the basis of guidance from the tournament officials and not due to any Indian influence. This decision is a major setback for Pakistan’s attitude, as the ICC has not only rejected their demand, but has also rejected its claims of unfair treatment in the tournament.
