Kuldeep Yadav may change the team before the IPL 2027 season. According to the report of Times of India, Team India’s experienced spinner is all set to leave Delhi Capitals (DC) and join hands with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
This potential move makes sense, as under Axar Patel in 2026, Kuldeep Yadav, one of the best spinners across all formats, endured one of the most disappointing seasons with DC. They conceded runs, missed their talent and most importantly, the captain’s decision to use his bowlers was questionable.
Why should LSG sign Kuldeep Yadav?
On the other hand, LSG, who finished IPL 2026 as the 10th team in the 10-team league, are in need of a prolific spinner. Digvesh Rathi was their frontline spinner last season, who was not that effective in IPL 2026.
