Former India national cricket team captain Kris Srikkanth has mercilessly trolled Australia national cricket team star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell after his failure in the fourth T20I.
Chris Srikkanth made fun of Glenn Maxwell and said that whenever Indian national cricket team spinner Varun Chakravarthy comes to bowl to him, he starts trembling in his shoes out of fear.

He made a comeback to the Australian team in the fourth T20I against India and unfortunately had to face Varun Chakravarthy at the Gold Coast Stadium (Carrara), Gold Coast.
During the run chase, Glenn Maxwell could score only 2 runs in 4 balls and was out in the 15th over. That over was bowled by none other than Varun Chakraborty.
On the last ball of the 15th over, he bowled a googly on length outside the off stump and Maxwell made room to slap it, but missed and destroyed his stumps. This was the sixth time in nine innings that Glenn Maxwell became the victim of Varun Chakravarthy.

In a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Kris Srikkanth said that whenever Varun gets a chance to bowl to Maxwell, he eats it up like a piece of cake. He said:
“Glenn Maxwell shakes his shoes whenever Varun Chakravarthy comes to bowl. Varun catches some batsmen like a rabbit. Especially when he sees Maxwell, he gobbles them up like a piece of cake.”
The former India captain also criticized Suryakumar Yadav for moving to No. 4 in the batting order and urged him to bat at No. 3 permanently. He said:
“The T20 World Cup is round the corner. So they don’t have much time. They have to find their form and get used to the No. 3 position. You can’t keep changing and rotating the order. There has to be a set order with limited time before the World Cup. They survived today and the trial and error philosophy is fine for now. But there has to be a conclusion at some point. Probably from the South Africa series, because it’s in India,” he said.

Kris Srikkanth also criticized the treatment meted out to Washington Sundar by the Indian team. He said Sundar is a spin-bowling all-rounder and should be given chances with the ball in all matches and his batting should be seen as an added luxury.
Srikkanth said, “I don’t understand that he is playing as a spin-bowling all-rounder. He is a spinner who can bat, not a batsman who bowls spin. He first came into the Indian team for spin-bowling with his opening spell for Pune in the IPL. That’s how Washington Sundar came into prominence.”
“Yes, he has scored a lot of runs and is basically an opening batsman. But his confidence will only increase if he is given the ball regularly. In the last match he did not bowl at all and barely bowled an over in this match. Through this plan, India are indirectly saying that he will not be in the 11 for the T20 World Cup as Kuldeep Yadav will be back on Indian pitches. This seems to be an indication of that.”
