KL Rahul, the initial batsman of Team India, scored a brilliant century during the first innings of the ongoing Test match against the West Indies. The right -handed batsman reached his 11th hundred in Test cricket and celebrated a milestone at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on day 2 (Friday, 3 October).
In Blue, men started the second day’s game at 121/2 at the crease with Rahul (53*) and Shubman Gill (18*). Skipper Shubman Gill arrived in half a century in the morning session. However, Shubman was rejected for 50 runs from Roston Chase’s bowling. In particular, it was India’s only wicket in the session.

On the fifth ball of the 65th over in India’s first innings, KL Rahul reached a difficult century. The batsman scored his 11th Test hundred and only on the land of the house, completing a diving mid-vicity to complete a complete delivery from Ruston Chase.

KL Rahul waited for 3,211 days between his first and second test centuries at home. In particular, this is the longest difference for an Indian batsman. The previous record was organized by Ravichandran Ashwin, who waited for 2,655 days between 2013 to 2021.
