Rahul reacted quickly and dived full to his right to complete an incredible one-handed catch, leaving players and fans in awe of the Indian wicketkeeper. His brilliant effort ended Jack’s innings of 20 runs off 19 balls, which included three fours.
Joe Root, Liam Dawson save England
After a dramatic collapse, the England national cricket team is slowly making a comeback in the first ODI against India. England were in a strong position at 61/0, but the innings took a shocking turn as India took five wickets, reducing the hosts to 80/5 and putting them under immense pressure. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah completed 150 ODI wickets with the wicket of Harry Brook in the first ODI.
However, Joe Root has kept England’s hopes alive by remaining calm at one end. The experienced batsman has started to rebuild the innings with Liam Dawson and they have already made a partnership of 32 runs. His stance is helping England overcome the difficult situation.
