Indian opener KL Rahul was in pain when a bad ball from Jayden Seales hit his box. Rahul was surprised by the sudden bounce and the ball went straight into his box. The physio ran to check the player who was writhing in pain.
After maintaining the follow-on in the first innings, India finally managed to bowl out the West Indies batsmen for 390 runs in their second innings, when they were all out for just 248 runs. This is his best batting innings so far, in which for the first time in this series his batsmen have scored two centuries and one half-century.
The Indian openers came in to chase the target of 121 runs in the final session of the third day. Yashasvi Jaiswal came with KL Rahul and Jaiswal looked in a hurry to win the match on the fourth day itself.
KL Rahul is in pain after suffering an injury in his lower body.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was out early after hitting two early fours in the first over of the innings; The batsman fell to Jomel Warrican, leaving control of the Indian innings to his partner Rahul.
Jaden Seales brought the second over of the innings against KL Rahul. Rahul played a trademark flick off the pads and the ball raced towards the fence towards the backward square leg boundary.
On the very next ball, the fast bowler pulled back his length a bit as the batsman was unaware of the extra carry, and the ball bounced higher than expected and hit Rahul on the head just above the box. The blow was very bad as the batsman fell on the ground and started writhing in extreme pain.
