The CSK team management wants a quality wicketkeeper who can also open the innings, which is important for their long-term plans. However, the situation is not that simple, as KL Rahul has been one of the most consistent performers, so Delhi Capitals are not ready to release him.

The CSK CEO mentioned that Dhoni is fully committed to the team and continues to play a vital role in guiding the young players. When asked how long Dhoni intended to stay in the post, Vishwanathan said, “I will check with him and let you know.”
