KL Rahul enjoyed a great IPL 2026 season with Delhi Capitals. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored 593 runs in 14 league matches at a strike rate of 174.41. His best performance came against Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, where he scored 152 not out.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant faces a tough campaign with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He scored 312 runs during the season after joining the franchise for Rs 27 crore in the auction. Pant later stepped down from the captaincy after LSG finished bottom of the points table.

According to reports, Kuldeep Yadav will move to Lucknow Supergiants, while Rishabh Pant will join the Capitals. Kuldeep joined Delhi Capitals in 2022, but faced difficulties in the IPL 2026 season and ultimately lost his place in the playing eleven.

Rishabh Pant spent nine seasons with Delhi Capitals between 2016 and 2024 and played 111 matches for the franchise. He also captained the team in 43 matches across three seasons before Delhi released him ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
