Kevin Peterson has made a new debate about modern-day Test cricket, stating that it is easier to bat today compared to two decades ago. Former England cricketer’s comments Joe became the second biggest run-scorer in the tests during the ongoing match against India in Route Manchester.

Peterson played 104 Tests for England, scoring 8,181 runs at an average of 47.28, including 23 centuries and 35 half -centuries. Peterson played an important role in England’s prestigious 2005 Ashes win. He represented England in 136 Odis and 37 T20s during his international career from 2005 to 2013.

Joe Root Slam 38th Test Century in Manchester
Joe Root scored 150 runs off 248 balls, as England posted a total of 544/7 in stumps on Friday. The home team took a lead of 186 runs after India was dismissed for 358 in their first innings.
Root scored his 38th century in Test cricket, with Kumar Sangakkara’s tally equal. He is the fourth combined fourth in the all -time list of Shatabdi gates. Only Ricky Ponting (41), Jacques Kallis (45), and Sachin Tendulkar (51) scored more.
The English batsman has been in great form in this series, scoring 403 runs in seven innings at an average of 67.16, including two centuries and fifty. He also shared a century partnership with Oli Pope (71) and Ben Stokes (77*), with England placed in a prominent place.
Ben Stokes has shining with his captaincy and all -round performance throughout the series. With England’s 2–1, they are well placed to complete the series. The Indian team led by Shubman Gill will require a strong effort to level the competition.
