The London Spirit asked for a total of 162/5 in its 100 balls to bat at Lord’s. He recovered from David Warner’s early disadvantage, scoring just 6 runs off 5 balls. Jamie Smith scored 52 runs in 34 delivery, including two fours and four sixes.

Smith and Kane Williamson scored 73 off 45 balls for the second wicket. Williamson scored 45 runs out of 32 balls, with six borders and one six. His partnership set the tone before dismissing the tone into quick succession.
