Gujarat Titans (GT) got the much-needed wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Kagiso Rabada’s seemingly full length delivery uprooted the left-handed batsman’s off stump.
Jaiswal was out after scoring 55 runs in 36 balls. His fifty-plus innings included six fours and three sixes and his strike rate was 152.78. Gujarat got a wicket on the third ball of the 13th over of the first innings.

On the second ball of the over, the young Indian opener hit the experienced South African fast bowler for a four, on the next ball Rabad got the wicket of Jaiswal. The southpaw tried to break the ball again.
He made space to hit the ball on the ground on the off side, but missed the ball completely. Rabada saw the large gap between the back of Jaiswal’s bat and the off stump and directed the ball accurately. The ball, traveling at 141.6 kilometers per hour, crossed the bat to intercept the off stump.
