Bangladesh national cricket team fast bowler Nahid Rana and Australia national cricket team captain Josh Inglis were involved in a heated exchange during the opening match of the ongoing three-match ODI series in Dhaka on Tuesday, June 9.
After the celebration of Nahid Rana’s wicket, a heated argument started with Josh Inglis.
The incident occurred moments after Nahid Rana dismissed Josh Inglis in the 11th over of Australia’s chase against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
As tension escalated between Inglis and Rana, Bangladesh national cricket team captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj and his teammates immediately stepped in to defuse the situation and took the young bowler away from the Australian captain. He managed not to escalate the tension further.
