Jofra Archer has officially rejected the England National Cricket Team in Birmingham before the second Test of the five -match Test series against India in Edgbaston. However, Joffra Archer is not part of England playing XI for the second Test against India starting on 2 July.

The hosts have already named an unchanged playing XI, who won the first Test against India by five wickets in Hadingley for the second Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy Test at the Edgbaston Stadium. However, the ECB did not explain why Archer was not nominated in Xi despite cleaning the fitness test.

Meanwhile, as reported by Revsports, Jofra Archer missed the training session of Monday (June 30) due to a family emergency, but returned on Tuesday (July 1) and hit the nets in full rhythm. Under the attentive eye of bowling coach Tim Southee, Archer bowled with full intensity during the team’s final practice session at Edgbaston.

Furious Packman bowled mostly to England openers Ben Docket and Zak Croly. Prior to the intensive training session, Joffra was also seen interacting with England Managing Director Rob Ki, indicating possible plans for his immediate return against India.
