England’s fast bowler Joffra Archer sled Team India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy during the final innings of the third Test match at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The incident occurred on the last day of the Test match (Monday, 14 July), in which Team India chased the target of 193 runs to secure the victory.
England tightened their grip with major wickets at day 4 and day 5. Jofra Archer dismissed the opener Yashsvi Jaiswal for a duck. Bridan Cars removed Karun Nair (14) and Indian captain Shubman Gill (6), while Ben Stokes cleaned the nightwatchman Akash only 1, left India at 58/4 by stumps.
Starting again on Monday, England hit three times in quick succession, firmly denting India to chase and bring the hosts under control.

Jofra Archer takes two wickets in spell opening spell on day 5
Archer gave a fierce performance in his return match. After the removal of a duck for just nine runs in the innings and Yashasvi Jaiswal for Rishabh Pant, Archer dismissed Washington Sundar, making India struggling at 82/7 in its 193-Run chase.
Sundar, who bowled brilliantly in England’s second innings with 4/22 figures, could not repeat his success with the bat. After complete delivery, he was rejected for a four -ball duck. Archer dives to his right and put more pressure on the visitors, holding a fast return.
Earlier in the match, the right -handed fast bowler returned 2 figures for 52 in 23.2 overs during the first innings, in which both Jaiswal and Sundar were rejected.

Jofra Archer led a major bowling attempt as England made a hold on the third Test against India at Lord’s. Archer, Ben Stokes and Bridan Cars destroyed the Indian batting order during the Chase of 193.
KL Rahul showed resistance with 39 runs in 58 balls, but India was reduced to 87/7 at the time of writing, only as the last recognized batsmen at the crease with Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
The winners of this match will take a 2–1 lead in the five-match series. England won the initial Test in Headingley with a successful pursuit of 371. India bounced back with a 336 -run win in the second Test in Edgbaston – his biggest win by run outside Asia.
