There is much more for him in the context of skill – Dinesh Karthik
Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of the game on day 3, former India national cricket team wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik praised Joffra Archer for his performance on day 2 and said:
“There is a lot more for him in the context of skills, which he has got. If you play her in a T20 game, you’ll come with all the variations. He has found a good, slow leg cutter, he has got a good, fast bouncer. But in Test cricket, it is about to kill the length continuously.
“And you are able to plan a batsman, to keep control to say that I will keep bowling, and throw one out. And it is sufficiently sufficient for the batsman to dig.
“Because they bring something, a taste that is very rare, and it is fun to see. And this format needs it, and you need players like Jofra. It is not about data.
“It is about the effect he makes, and the way he is able to pull a crowd when he comes. And he sees the happiness he has consecutively bowling on 90 click. Yesterday, there was a friend, a friend who came and said, wow, he, he was felt quickly, that you felt what you are doing.
