England National Cricket Team Modern-Day Great Joe Root has made history with his amazing catch to dismiss Karun Nair in the Lord’s Test.
In the third Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, Joe Root’s amazing one-hand catches have helped him become a record holder for the most catches in the history of Test cricket.
Joe Root broke Rahul Dravid’s record for most test catch
Root is considered one of the best fielders in the world, and he rarely spreads any chance on the field. In slippers, he is one of the most reliable fielders, and he once again showed his talent against the Indian team on 2 of the Lord’s Test.

On the second ball of the 21st over, England captain Ben Stokes delivered a short length for India’s new number 3 Karun Nair, which went away after being away as a batsman, which surprised the batsman.
Nair only managed to increase delivery, and it seemed that the ball goes through the gap between the wicketkeeper and the first slip.

Apart from Root and Dravid, Mahela Jayawardane, Jacques Kallis, and Steve Smith are three players who have taken 200 catches in Test cricket. Meanwhile, Karun Nair scored 40 runs from 62 balls, failing to convert his debut into a big score.
