West Indies fast bowler Jaden Seales is in trouble as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined him heavily for his misconduct during the ongoing second Test against India at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi.
The incident, which occurred on the first day, involved Jayden Seales throwing the ball in a dangerous manner towards an Indian player in frustration and is a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct.

The ICC confirmed that Seales had breached Article 2.9 of the Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “throwing the ball (or any other item of cricket equipment) at or near a player in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during an international match”.

Along with a fine of 25% of his match fee, Seales also received one demerit point, taking his number to two within 24 months. His previous offense occurred during a Test against Bangladesh in December 2024.
