The incident came to light on the fifth ball of the 15th over during South Africa’s second innings against India at the Eden Gardens. Ravindra Jadeja sent the ball down the leg and Wiaan Mulder did a good job of it. It was only supposed to be one, but what happened next shocked fans.

While Bavuma was deciding whether to seek a DRS review after the ball hit the pads, the stump microphone captured Bumrah making a cheeky comment about the Proteas captain’s height.
Bumrah’s “Bauna Hai” comment immediately became a topic of discussion among fans and cricket analysts. Now, South Africa’s batting coach Ashwell Prince clarified that there will be no formal discussion on this and confirmed that it is unlikely to impact the match or the players’ behavior on the field.
Ashwell Prince told the media, “No, there will be no discussion. This is the first time, obviously, it has come to my attention. I don’t think there will be any problem because of what has happened in between.”
