Ben Stokes and Bridan Cars Washington Sundar, Bambozeld by Jaspreet Bumrah
Spin-bouling all-rounder Washington Sundar has seen in a dominant form on the fourth day of the Lord and has created a life for English batsmen.
Sundar took the two biggest wickets of the match, when he rejected the modern-day batting in Anderson-Tendulkar 2025-German Smith, Great Joe Root and England’s lead run-goldter.
Washington Sundar was not satisfied with just two wickets and went to get another major success for his team by demolishing the stump of England captain Ben Stokes.
On the third ball of the 55th over, Sundar did a stunning full-length delivery from the wicket round, which went inside, and Ben Stokes went for a sweep.
However, the ball was snatched under the bat of Ben Stokes and shattered the England captain’s stump, sent him back to the hut for 33 runs off 96 balls.
This was the third consecutive time in the ongoing series that Ben Stokes recorded a score of 33 in the second innings – 33 (Headingly), 33 (Edgbaston), and 33 (Lords).
Meanwhile, in the next over, Jasprit Bumrah gave more blow to England by rejecting Bridan Cars. On the first ball of the over, Bumrah bowled an inaccurate yorker for Bridan Cars, which had no response to this.
The Indian Pace Spearhead bowled a high -speed yorker based on stumps, and the cars were a little late to bring the bat down and saw his stumps being seen rote on the score of 1.

Speaking at the BBC Test match special, England spinner Phil Tuffnel spoke about the dismissal of Ben Stokes and Bridan Cars.
He said, “I don’t want to say that I told you this, but I told you so. Washington Sundar has the ability to go under your bat, and it was a bit full and sharp, and Ben Stokes was done by it,” he said.
Phil Tafnell said, “A yorker’s cork, quick, full and straight. There is 182 lead, but it’s not enough for my money.”
Meanwhile, former England captain Michael Attarton appreciated Washington Sundar for dismissing Ben Stokes, speaking on Sky Sports. He said:
