Indian Speedster Jasprit Bumrah has stepped back to the Indian land after a long gap and dominates the West Indies batsmen with its sublime speed and summit. With his 3 wickets in the first innings, Bumrah crossed legends to be the fastest Indian bowler to reach 50 Test wickets at home.
India vs. West Indies is the first test going on and will be played from 6th October to 6th of this month. On the other hand, the second test will be played from 10 October to 14 October. Both these tests mark India’s second series after India’s visit to India, which launched their WTC 2025-27 campaign.
Indian captain Shubman Gill lost the 6th consecutive toss in the history of the competition, and so the visitors opted to bat on the Seam-Friends track of the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Mohammad Siraj in his skilled best on Ahmedabad pitch
Another Pesar Mohammad Siraj, who was played for India in the match against the West Indies, performed even better, as the Gujarat Titans Pacer is well aware of the track of Narendra Modi Stadium.
Siraj took three initial wickets in the first season of the play, which included top-order batsman Tagnerine Chandpall, Alik Athanaz and Brandon King. He later came to bowl at the second spell in the lunch session as he rejected the Windies Skipper, Roston Chase.

Kuldeep Yadav takes 2 wickets on Test returns
Spinner Kuldeep Yadav made his much awaited comeback in the Indian play XI for the longest format of the game. Left -arm Burme Chinman bowler Kuldeep gave most of his capabilities.
After an early massacre from Indian pacers, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Shai Hope on lunch stroke and then rejected the last batsman, Joler Warrican. The West Indies were excluded for 162, while India in turn made a promising start with the openers and KL Rahul contributed to 50+ partnerships.
