Bumrah, India’s Ice Paper Jasprit, has hit a historic low on the fourth test day against England in Manchester. Jasprit Bumrah is known for his discipline and deadly mantra, and he rarely scored runs in his career, but Manchester harassed him.
In fact, Fiery Fast bowler scored more than 100 runs in his 91 Test innings for the first time. Prior to the ongoing fourth test against England, Bumrah’s worst figure in a test innings was 99 runs in 28.4 overs during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 against Australia.

But in Manchester, the pressure piled up, and Bumrah first crossed the 100 -run mark. This was only the 6th time in his entire first class career (137 innings) when he has gone for 100-plus runs. The last time he scored more than 100 runs during the Ranji Trophy semi -finals between Gujarat and Jharkhand in January 2017.

Additionally, this was only the second time Bumrah bowled over 30 overs in a test innings. The last time he bowled 36 overs, he was against England in Chennai in 2021.
Although Jasprit Bumrah is working hard, the lack of support from the other end causes badly damage to India and fast bowlers. Former England batsman Jonathan Trot explained how Bumrah thrives with backup, but has been left fighting a lonely battle in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar trophy.
Jasprit Bumrah was just a little inauspicious: Jonathan Trot
Jonathan Trot said on Gehotstar, “The areas of Bumrah were very good, and their economy shows that – that was simply a little inauspicious. But the big issue is pressure from both ends. Bumrah has large -scale benefits when supports at the other end, and when you are as a bowling unit.
Bumrah may also have the final presence in the five -match Test series in the ongoing fourth Test match, as the think tank had already decided that the fast bowler would play only three Tests on the tour.

Well, Bumrah and other Indian bowlers are looking tired, as their bowling speed has fallen in the manchester test, and England has taken the most advantage of it. He posted the highest total in testing history at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
England scored 669 runs in response to India’s first innings in a total of 358 runs, and now they are scoring 311 runs on day 4. Now, India needs all its batsmen so that there is a chance to win the ongoing fourth test to keep themselves alive in the five -match Test series.
