In the final, Bumrah will have to face a tough challenge from New Zealand batsmen, especially the Kiwi openers. In the semi-finals, New Zealand’s opening pair of Tim Seifert and Finn Allen toyed with the South African bowlers. While Seifert’s pace was reduced for the fifty-plus innings, Allen scored a century and remained not out, thereby ensuring a place in the final of the T20 World Cup 2026.
According to Cricbuzz data, Bumrah’s bowling figures against South Africa are worse than his overall career figures.
