Jasprit Bumrah denied the best bowler in world nomination in England

With a second trial between India and England in Edgbaston in July, Vice-Capten Harry Brook surprised the cricket world with his bold statement on star Pace Spierhead Jasprit Bumrah. As the speculation on Jasprit Bumrah grows, possibly being resting for the Edgbaston Test, Harry Brook’s comments have added excess heat to the buildup.

Brooke accepted Bumrah’s unique bowling style and skill, but has not given a clear answer to whether the Indian fast bowlers have faced the best in their career so far.

Harry Brook was quoted by The Times of India, “He is clearly a great bowler – it receives a little strange angle and at the same time there is a wonderful amount of skills. You just try and respect his good balls and attack his bad balls, in fact, like any other bowler.”

It is being said that Jasprit Bumrah will be rested for the second Anderson-Tendulkar trophy testing against England as part of India’s Foundation Management Plan, despite the fact that he is 0–1 in the ongoing five-match test series.

Harry Brook feels that the possible absence of Jasprit Bumrah will take England in 2 Tests

Jasprit Bumrah was the only standout bowler for England in the five -match Test series opener in Headingly during the loss of five wickets for England, where Star Fast bowler ran five wickets in the first innings, but returned wicketlaces in the second innings.

Asked if Bumrah’s possible absence in Edgbaston would be in favor of England, Brooke feels that it may tilt the scales a little in favor of the hosts if the world’s number 1 Test bowler recalls another test, but insists that his aggressive attitude will not change.

Brooke said, “I think there was a good win with us last week. We are trying to put all the bowlers under pressure and are going to see; it doesn’t matter who we are going to bowl. But yes, if the team is missing the number 1 Test bowler in the world, it can expect it.”

The vice-captain has further said that they do not matter to the target. Considering the Headingley Test, Brook shared how the team was composed even when India was ready to post a large scale. He said that the England bowlers got six wickets for 40 runs in the third innings and really helped the batsmen.

‘We were all very calm in the headingley test’

He also credited Ben Docket and Zak Crole to give Chase an unprecedented start. The English batsman insisted that England take back himself to chase anything, even more than 450 yoga.

Brooke signed, saying, “In the headingley test, we were all very calm. We knew that we are going out from there and whatever they set for us, they try anyway.
