The reference to this jab of Panchal is a ban that Harry Brook was handed over by the Indian Premier League Governing Council.

In particular, he was purchased by Delhi Capital for Rs 6.2 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction, but he withdrew from the tournament a few days before begins, citing the desire to focus on his international career with England.

According to IPL rules, players, who are withdrawing from the tournament for non-bodh reasons after being purchased in the auction, are subject to a two-year ban by entering the IPL auction.
