A huge update has come on the participation of India National Cricket Team Paes Spearhead Jaspreet Bumrah in the upcoming Asia Cup.
The BCCI Hosted Asia Cup 2025 will be held from 9 to 28 September in the United Arab Emirates, with a high-voltage match between India and Pakistan to Dubai for 14 September.

According to a report at PTI, Bumrah is unlikely to be available for a full five -match Test series for the rest of his career, the next such assignments of India are at home against Australia in 2027.
India’s next two test assignments are against the West Indies and South Africa, and the Shubman Gill -led side will play each two matches in those series.
Talking about white-ball cricket, India’s next large assignment Asia Cup is 2025 and ICC Men T20 World Cup 2026. Allegedly, BCCI knew about the “huge risk” associated with Bumrah’s participation of Bumrah; Therefore, he decided to ensure that he is available for the Asia Cup 2025 and manage his charge.
“There is an Asia Cup around the corner, and there is also a T20 World Cup. He wants to play those events. Looking at his body, he cannot play every game. He needs to manage with additional care. Playing it at the oval would have a big risk.
A source of BCCI said, “Moving forward, a clear plan is required to manage Bumrah’s Test career.”
BCCI Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy to discuss the future of Jasprit Bumrah after 2024
Ryan Ten Doschet, assistant coach of the India National Cricket Team, recently said that the availability of Jasprit Bumrah is a “complex issue” and decided to honor the pace’s decision to play only three matches.
