Ishan Kishan led the Indian Under-19 team in the 2016 World Cup and newcomer Ishan Kishan was included in the squad. He played almost the entire season with the Lions in 2017 and impressed with his excellent ball-striking ability.
Kishan moved to Mumbai Indians in 2018 and performed well; However, his breakthrough season came in 2020 when he scored 516 runs in the season with a brilliant 99 in Dubai. He continued his excellent performances in the 2022 and 2023 seasons and became an important part of MI Den.
