India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan shared a funny moment with a fan by signing the supporter’s bald head after the second T20I against Zimbabwe. The light-hearted incident was caught on camera and quickly went viral on social media, Kishan said laughing as he fulfilled the autograph request.
The incident occurred after India’s 90-run win over Zimbabwe in the second T20I in Harare on Saturday, July 25. The visiting team made a huge score of 219/5. They took a 2–0 lead in the three-match series after bowling out Zimbabwe for 129 runs. Kishan, who scored 81 runs in 44 balls, won the Player of the Match award.

After the match, Ishan Kishan spent time with fans near the boundary ropes, signing jerseys, bats and other memorabilia. An enthusiastic supporter leaned forward and asked the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman to autograph his bald head.
The 28-year-old was shocked but agreed to sign the fan’s head in permanent marker. A video quickly went viral on social media. Kishan kept laughing the entire time as teammates, officials and spectators watched the light-hearted interaction.
Shreyas Iyer’s side registered a 90-run win to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series and also registered their first T20I series win under the new captain. Kishan said that he “kept things very simple”. After a player of the match performance in the second T20I against Zimbabwe.

Ishan Kishan overtakes Virat Kohli in elite T20I list
Ishan Kishan also achieved a big individual achievement with his match-winning innings. The left-handed batsman scored 81 runs from 44 balls and brought up his sixth T20I half-century in the 2026 calendar year after India lost both the openers early in the innings.
Ishan has scored 783 T20I runs in 2026, surpassing Virat Kohli’s previous Indian record of 781 runs in a calendar year in 2022.
The wicketkeeper batsman is ranked third in the list of most T20I runs scored by an Indian batsman in a calendar year. Suryakumar Yadav tops the charts with 1,164 runs in 2022, while Abhishek Sharma is second with 859 runs in 2025.
Ishan Kishan won the ‘Best Attitude of the Match’ award
The Indian team management has introduced the ‘Best Attitude of the Match’ award during the Zimbabwe tour. Head coach VVS Laxman introduced the dressing room award to encourage the right attitude on and off the field.
Following his excellent innings and energetic presence throughout the match, Kishan was named the latest recipient of the award. Vice-captain Tilak Verma received the inaugural honors following India’s victory in the first T20I.
In the second match too, Tilak played an important role and helped India score 219/5 by remaining unbeaten on 60 runs in 29 balls. In reply, Abhishek Sharma was brilliant with the ball, taking 3 for 17, while Prince Yadav and Yash Thakur took two wickets each, as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 129 in 17.5 overs.
