Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has said that if Lucknow Super Giants wicketkeeper Nicholas Pooran continues his poor form in this season of the Indian Premier League, he may lose his place in the LSG playing eleven.

“Rajat Patidar is batting at a strike rate of over 200. He is also hitting three sixes an over against the spinners. If you consider yourself a gangster, he is a monster against the spinners,” he said.
He then added, “Rajat Patidar’s strength is that he stands strong and has a very good base. He doesn’t use his legs much and is not a player who will step out and hit. Can Digvesh Rathi invite him to play more on the front foot? Not too forward, but invite him in such a way that he cannot hit directly and has to go across.”
